The Fitbit Versa Lite, notwithstanding its lovely lilac color, failed to electrify me. Why? Because I take my runs and schooling critically. Unfortunately, the Versa Lite appears more like a way of life watch for a person who desires music steps and energy than a person who seriously wants to educate and be on the street with minimum add-ons. The most significant setback for the Versa Lite is the absence of an in-built GPS. I am used to jogging without my smartphone, and this is precisely how I had deliberated to apply the Versa Lite over the weekend correctly. However, without the GPS, the watch becomes reduced to only a step and time counter for me.
I rectified this the following day by switching on Bluetooth and letting the watch use my cell phone’s GPS. This time it would show me the tempo and distance, alongside the time of the run in actual time. While this is fantastic, I still don’t need to run with my cellphone all the time. I was commonly run with a basic Garmin Forerunner 35. So I am used to several records on my wrist – be it the pace, heart fee.
Distance, duration, etc. While the Versa Lite permits me to choose the c language mode, it does now not have any provision for pacing (unlike Garmin’s virtual pacer). I would say the Versa Lite is excellent if you are simply going for a run without a worry approximately your pace and so forth, or if you are a beginner and want to get into the dependency of hitting the street. But for something more than that, spending a touch more (or even the same rate for Garmin Forerunner 35) for a right walking watch would be sensible.
One of the matters I cherished about the Versa Lite version is that it still has got the right of entry to Fitbit’s Female Health tracker, which allowed me to make a notice of my menstrual cycle. And gave a prediction of when I have to expect the following process, cramps or headaches. But it’s far most effective beneficial if your menstrual cycle is every day, like mine. For absolutely everyone who has an irregular cycle, I might advise turning off the prediction notification and inputting the facts manually every time.
