Grocery delivery and pickup are changing how we buy food for the better

My grandmother cherished grocery buying. Raised on a farm in south Alabama, she spent a long time dishing up three made-from-scratch food each day and loved not anything greater than casually perusing the aisles all afternoon. One generation later, my mother loathes it. At some point in the peak of TV dinners, a running female in the town wants to get in, get out, and get on with her day. Me? For years I had a foot in both camps.

Sometimes, the searching and amassing of pushing a big, squeaky cart via tiny aisles feel soul-sucking. Check with me weekly after I’m feeling much less careworn and greater innovative, and I may sing the praises of surfing for thrilling components and special offers. But all of this is converting. I may additionally by no means step foot in a grocery store again, and I’m a hundred% OK with it. Let me tell you why.

Retail reimagined
